RE-OPENING NEWS: 

We are excited to welcome you for our worship service since California’s grand reopening.  We will continue to also worship online. Anyone at risk of COVID-19 or who otherwise feels more comfortable worshiping from home may continue to do so. We encourage you to do whatever feels safest and most comfortable to you!

You can expect the following at our in-person gathering on Sundays:

 Worship:

• We will continue to worship at 10 am.
• While we will have printed bulletins in the Sanctuary, you can also access the bulletin online.
• We will have an offering plate/bowl available in the narthex of the church for Sunday offerings. You can also continue to give via our church website: https://cdmucc.org
• Hymnals will be back in the sanctuary beginning June 20^th. We are asking those who choose to sing to do so wearing masks, which can be removed following the hymn(s). (Masks will be available in the narthex.)
• On Sundays when we greet one another, no one should feel obligated to shake hands, hug, or bump fists. Peace signs and head nods are entirely acceptable.

 Hospitality:

• Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout our building.

We anticipate a return to our Post-Worship Fellowship Refreshments later in the summer.  Stay tuned!

Capacity:

• At the request of our Head Usher (and given the varying comfort levels of folks within our faith family), we are aspiring to maintain a six foot distancing between groups, and three feet when that isn’t feasible. As brothers and sisters in Christ, let’s continue to recognize and respect the concerns of others in regards to space and social distancing.

 Masks: 

• Masks are recommended for those who have not been fully vaccinated and recommended for anyone who would feel more comfortable wearing one.

All are welcome, regardless of creed, faith, or doubt. Bring your questions. Bring your hopes. Bring your burdens. Bring your prayers and praise. Whoever you are, wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome as we worship God together.

Pastor Bob's sermon is entitled, "A Tale of Two Kingdoms: To Christen McKenzie, Andrew Boone, Robert Warren The II, Scott Madison & Forrest Blake, A Father's Day Epistle", with a Scripture Lesson from 2nd Corinthians 4:7-12, 16-18 (NIV).

Pastor Bob's sermon is entitled "On Hills and Home and Harold" with the Scripture lesson from Ephesians 3:14-21 (NIV). We will also be recognizing our graduates on this Sunday.
