Board of Christian Mission
The Board of Christian Mission leads Corona del Mar Community Church in reaching beyond our walls to serve the world with compassion and purpose. Rooted in our faith, the Board guides the congregation’s involvement in mission-driven work, encouraging both collective action and individual engagement in service and advocacy.
Key responsibilities include:
Community Engagement:
Coordinating service projects and outreach programs that connect our church with the needs of the larger community.
Empowering Individual Involvement:
Providing pathways for members to participate in denominational and ecumenical service opportunities.
Faith in Action:
Offering educational opportunities and resources that equip members to thoughtfully respond to current issues through a lens of Christian witness.
Connection to Denomination:
Partnering with the Denominational Affairs Committee to keep the congregation informed about the work of the Conference and Association we belong to.
Whether through local service or global partnerships, the Board of Christian Mission helps us live out our calling to be a church that serves, supports, and stands in solidarity with others.
