The Covenant Process:
Joining Our Community
Becoming a member of Corona del Mar Community Church, Congregational is simple and meaningful. We are a covenant-based community, which means membership begins by submitting a covenant — a personal statement of your intention to be part of our faith, work, and fellowship.
Through this covenant, you express your desire to join our journey as a community of intentional, committed Christian seekers and believers. It’s not about perfection — it’s about walking together, supporting each other, and growing in faith.
Why Become a member?
& What is a covenant anyway?
A covenant is a simple statement of your intention to be part of our community. It’s your way of saying, “I’m in, and here’s how I’d like to be involved.” Your covenant can be as detailed or as simple as you feel led to— whether it’s about participating in services, contributing your gifts, exploring faith, or expressing areas where you seek growth. Most importantly, submitting your covenant is how you become a member of our church.
As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Deepen your relationship with the community and engage in opportunities for spiritual growth.
- Vote on important church decisions.
- Be included in our church directory and stay connected through mailings and updates.
A few things to keep in mind:
Membership is free.
Membership does not require a financial donation. We believe your presence, participation, and heart are the most important contributions you can make.
Your covenant is totally private.
Your covenant is personal & private, reflecting your own faith journey and how you wish to engage with our church.
Membership must be renewed each year.
Each year, members renew their covenant, giving us all a chance to reflect on how we are growing and supporting one another.
